Shipping
All sales are FOB shipping point. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs pre-paid by Trace shown on the invoice. Any loss or damages in shipping must be reported within 24 hours and shall be reported to the shipping company. Shipping losses or damages shall be covered under the shipping companies standard loss/damage insurance programs and are not the responsibility of Trace. In the event the customer requests alternative shipping arrangements, additional charges may apply. Additional charges may apply on large orders that must be shipped via LTL (truck) freight.
Returns
Returns must be pre-authorized by Trace and proof of purchase invoice must be faxed to our office to obtain an RMA number. Special order items are not returnable. Returns must be made within the first seven days from the date of purchased and must be in its original packaging. Defective items must be returned within 15 days from the date of purchased and must obtain an RMA number. Warranty issues after the first 15 days will be forwarded to the manufacturer. Please refer to manufacturer's warranty card for more specific details.
Warranty
All items leaving our warehouse have been checked for damages prior to packing. Any defective items shall fall under manufacturer's specified warranties which may vary from product to product. Please call the office for detailed information on specific product warranty information. Trace shall not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from use or failure of any products sold beyond the value of the actual product.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The purchaser understands and recognizes that products, equipment, and/or services provided by and/or sold by Trace Electric, Trace Fire Protection, or Ecart, are subject to varying conditions due to the manner in which they are to be installed and used. The acceptability and suitability of any item sold or manufactured by Trace for a particular application is solely at the purchasers discretion. Purchaser must reasonably satisfy themselves that the products, equipment, and/or services provided by and/or sold by Trace Electric, Trace Fire Protection, or Ecart are suitable and acceptable for the purchaser's intended use. Trace makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, oral or written, of product merchantability.
